appearance tomorrow. tonight, police say james holmes is still not talking. meanwhile, investigators have finished collecting evidence from his apartment. the neighbors are not being allowed back in just yet. after leaving colorado, air force one touched down at san francisco international airport at about 8:00 tonight. this was an unscheduled visit, so there was no vip reception. the president immediately got in his vehicle and headed to the bay area. arturo santiago has more on the very emotional day. >> reporter: well, diane, the president was about an hour late arriving at san francisco international, because he was an hour late leaving colorado, where he had spent an emotional afternoon with some of the victims of the mass shooting in aurora, colorado. he met with them in private, and was told stories of an incredible survival. he told them that his visit was not so much as a president of the united states, but as a husband and father. but he did talk of the nation. >> this person has received a lot of attention over the last couple of days, that attention will fade away. and in the
